A life sciences and healthcare technology leader is seeking a freelance health beat writer who is experienced in writing about breakthroughs in the screening of certain cancers. In this particular instance, a pre-symptomatic screening test has been engineered, utilizing more than 100 proteomic biomarkers that indicate the presence of ovarian cancer. Producer ISO a great script. We are in the market for a writer who has or can develop a 90 page dressed up stage play that may have market value. The finished product will be marketed to qualified distributors for a final sale. Negative cost will be kept under 200k. We will market this as a million dollar film, with the goal of achieving that number as a minimum bid.
As the writer of this project we will ultimately determine the details of your contract, whether it be an option with a final buyout, or negotiated as equivalent units with memo points equal to the investor deals
Your script or story idea must meet these criteria:
1: six to ten characters MAX!
2: Present day!
3: One location, can be different rooms of the same location.
4: No: stunts, excessive gore, special effects, visual effects, car chases, or special wardrobe.
5: Kids or pets will be considered ONLY with the right story.
6: Prop weapons and post production muzzle flashes will be considered if kept to a minimum.
7: Any genre, as long as you can pull it off.
8: Must have drama
9: Must have tension.
10: MUST BE PRIMAL!!!
