How Can I Generate More Ideas For My Action Adventure Story? How Can I Generate More Ideas For My Action Adventure Story? |

Q. I want to write an adventure story about treasure hunters set in the jungle, but I need to generate some more ideas because my treatment does not sound at all imaginative. Have you any suggestions?
A. As ever, when you run dry, RESEARCH - and the more your research involves talking to people with first hand experience of what you are writing about the better. I think you need to get yourself day dreaming - and maybe even spend some time in a real jungle if that were possible? Take a holiday over there? It would certainly help you come up with some ideas? Plus read any and all books on treasure hunters you can find. Somewhere in there you will find a spark to ignite your imagination. |

"Nothing I write about my journey with Phil can adequately describe his patience, diligence and the wonderful way he has coached and counselled me in all aspects of screenwriting. Phil is an amazing person to work with because if he thinks your work good he tells you so and if not, well he tells you that too, but then immediately goes about working with you to improve. I've learned so much. Thanks Phil."
