Default Interview with a Vampire - remake

Well, technically a reboot of The Vampire Chronicles.

Robert Downey Jr as LeStat? We'll see.

I guess that's the next logical step these days; combine the two biggest Hollywood fads - Vampires and remakes.

Vampire Chronicles

it could work...

Not sure why Cruise won't reprise the role. He was great first time around.

The Vampire Lestat was the best of the original trilogy - so could be good.

Not sure about RDJ though...

The Body Thief was okay

the rest cash in hell.

Screenwriting Goldmine Method
Screenwriting Course Download The "Screenwriting Goldmine Guide to Writing a Screenplay" is a simple to use, utterly comprehensive, step by step method for going from the horrors of a blank page all the way through to a highly readable - and very commercial - first draft. It's based on my seventeen years as a professional screenwriter/script editor, and it's a direct transcription of the method I use to write my own screenplays. Simply put, it works! (Over 2,000 copies sold to date!) Everyday low price- find out more here.

Okay.
But make sure the hire a competent
cinematographer who will
give us something we havn't seen.

Hope they make IT atmospheric. Something
we havn't seen.

The first one was atmospheric.
But I hope they don't repeat
the same cinematic style.

Where is the new breed
of screenwriters and directors
like MR. DUNCAN JONES....?????

Knock us off our seat.
Don't bore us with the same Vampire crap....

That's the murky swamp Hollywood is swimming in right now. It seems like a large percentage of films are about this worn out subject.

Speaking of murky...

These photos are from the production/transpo lot @ Universal...
They were taken on a Wednesday. Just to show how slllooooowwww it is right now in Hollywood. From what I understand, it's like this at every major studio.
I also added a couple shots of the rebuild going on @ the Universal backlot. If you remember, it burned down a couple years ago.

Screenwriting Goldmine Workshop in July
Screenwriting CoursesBOOKING NOW: The Authoritative Guide to Writing - and Selling - a Great Screenplay 2013.

Once again I've teamed up with highly experienced producer/script consultant Philip Shelley to give another Screenwriting Goldmine Seminar in London this July.

The special guest this time is Bradley Quirk (Pathé Creative Executive "Long Walk to Freedom", "Philomena" etc)

Get details, find out what people thought of the courses so far, and, most importantly, sign up while there are still places for this intensive screenwriting course..
