Screenwriter 6 Possible Virus Heads Up

I just completed my regular in depth virus scan with AVG and it came up with some most unexpected virus hits:

Re: Doctor Who

Hm...pretentious, terminally slow, over-rated rubbish, with zero character development, amateur video style shaky cam footage, contrived storylines that defied logic and common sense with a large...

Re: Doctor Who

The Doctor is back on the BBC....and it is good :) Clearly aimed at its original target audience of families and children in its 6.20pm time slot, it went straight for entertainment value rather than...

Re: Series Burn-Out aka One-Season Wonders

I think I would expand on that idea somewhat and say 'Commercial concerns' rather than just commercials. While it is true that advertisers are more likely to want to be associated with 'safe'...

Re: cameron's AVATAR

..and of course we all know that he stole the name 'Unobtainium' from the best forgotten 2003 global disaster movie 'The Core'. The ship that travelled to the Earth's core in that was built out of...

Re: Avatar - World Premiere (London, baby)

I take it you're one of the fortunate people who hasn't seen 'The Core' then ? The 'ship' in that disaster movie that went down into the Earth's Core was made out of unobtainium.

Re: James Cameron's 200 million epic AVATAR- trailer (your opinion?????)

That would be a big mistake, I'm assuming you're talking about the full film not just the trailer. As a 'flat' film, this will just be a run of the mill sci-fi movie with lots of set piece SFX...

Re: GRAND THEFT AUTO versus IRON MAN (THE MOVIE AND SCRIPT)

Sorry Ben, I forgot that subtlety is not one of your strong points. You missed what I was saying. So to be a bit more direct, I'll rephrase what I said. Tarantino's films nearly all have a political...

Re: Celebrating 'KILL BILL 1 & KILL BILL2 " by the God of Cinema-TARANTINO

I think you are hugely over-estimating the status of these two films. They may have 'cult status', as in a small group of devout/fanatical admirers, but not iconic.

Well, I wouldn't want anything...

Re: GRAND THEFT AUTO versus IRON MAN (THE MOVIE AND SCRIPT)

And here I thought you were a Quentin Tarantino fan :D Last time I looked, all of his films have a political reference, even if it's only that they are very politically incorrect :D

Re: Hot TV- Shows -- Which one are watching and following lately?

Just between the two of us...millions of people in the UK love watching 'I'm a Celebrity...Get me out of here !' but that doesn't make it a good show :D The same applies to Weeds :D I stand by what I...

Re: Hot TV- Shows -- Which one are watching and following lately?

To be completely honest, none of them. If I'm really short of something to do, I might catch an episode of CSI:Miami simply because it is so far removed from reality that it's almost entertaining...

Where does it say this will be a brutal and violent prequel ? Hopefully, Ridley Scott is capable of over-seeing something much more intelligent. One of the reasons the original 'Alien' worked so well...

Well, to be honest that's £50 (US dollars don't get you very far when buying stuff here in the UK :D) plus the cost of his camcorder + tapes + the computer he probably used to edit it + the cost of...

Thanks for the heads up on that. I'm going to have to check up on the deal. Seems strange that a program like Final Draft doesn't have a printed manual :(
