Phil Gladwin

gladw85-114.jpgPhil has been both a screenwriter, and a script editor trying to find a new writer for his show. He has been writing for 25 years, but he had his first break as a trainee BBC Script Editor in London back in the mid 1990’s. He worked as a Script Editor for the BBC and ITV for the next five years, doing full terms on several big popular mass market UK TV shows such as 'Casualty' and 'The Bill'. He also did long periods of development script editing for the BBC and World Productions, a multiple Bafta winning top indie production house.

In 2000 he moved into writing full time. You can check him out out on www.imdb.com if you want full details of his produced work, and behind the scenes he has been commissioned to write scripts and treatments for many different shows and most genres of television drama over the years. (His recent broadcast credits include 'Trial & Retribution' for Lynda la Plante, and two episodes of the new 'Doctor Who' spin-off show 'The Sarah Jane Adventures'.)

Phil's favorite movie is 'Fanny and Alexander', and his favourite TV show is 'Homicide: Life on The Street', which he still, just, prefers to David Simon's other wonderful thing about bad people, 'The Wire'.

Charles Gladwin

charlesgladwin85-115.jpg Charles entered journalism over 13 years ago working on business to business titles. After three years running the best read pharmacy title in the UK (where among many notable innovations he was responsible for selecting Damien Hirst as a cover star) he was made group editor for Pharmacy titles at CMPi, a multi-national business to business media production company. He has also worked for Informa Group in Dubai.

Favourite films include Billy Wilder's 'One, Two, Three', 'Stand By Me', 'The Hours', 'Big', 'Psycho' and 'Singing in the Rain'. TV includes 'Life on Mars', 'Murder One', 'The Prisoner', 'Blackpool' and 'Carnival'.

Sally Brockway

sallybrockway.jpgSally Brockway began her career in journalism on local papers before moving onto Today newspaper as a features writer. She joined The Sun when they launched their TV Guide and wrote celebrity interviews,  daily TV reviews and weekly previews for them. Sally then went freelance and is currently a regular contributor to TV Times,  Soaplife and What's On TV magazines. She's also been published in numerous national magazines including Woman, Woman's Own, Woman's Weekly, TV Quick and TV and Satellite Week.

Sally wrote her first screenplay after going on a Write On holiday in Turkey in the summer of 2007 where she was tutored by Kay Mellor. She's currently working on her third script.

Sally's favourite film is the 1946 Powell & Pressburger classic 'A Matter Of Life And Death', starring David Niven, and her favourite TV series depends on her mood, but is probably one of: 'The Twilight Zone', 'The Prisoner', 'The Street', 'Lost', 'Doctor Who' and 'Torchwood'.
