The length of time it takes to load pages on here has been driving me mad for weeks now. I’ve been in all the forums looking for answers, and tried a whole set of different things to no avail – this blog takes ages to load each page.
I wanted to ask you – how much does that put you off? Do you just give up waiting for pages to load? Or is it bearable? Obviously I’d love to know.

Strangely I don’t find your blog slow at all, and I’m on dial-up and there are plenty of slow downloads that I do endure. So I’m not sure what your problem is.
Or maybe your definition of slow is my definition of lightning.

But it depends the type of server you have.
Since you’re not Bill Gates Microsoft(as Least not yet!), the speed is good.

Yes, Ben, I think it is a server issue – I’m on a shared hosting thing – they have offered me a dedicated virtual host for not a lot more, but looking at the amount of extra admin I’d have to do, and including the amount of pain I’d have to learn how to run the thing, well, I guess we’ll all have to be slow for a while longer..
I can’t tell any delay…in fact, I think it’s pretty quick!
I actually never thought about it but it seems quick enough. Maybe it’s a problem that only some encounter but I (thankfully) am not one.
