If you haven’t noticed already, you might care to wander over to the Screenwriting Goldmine forum.
It’s been completely redeveloped in the last week.
It’s now MASSIVE!
A writer could get lost in there for weeks.
To mark this I’m also running another forum competition. The winner will get to send me their screenplay, and I’ll send them back the same notes and coverage as they would have got from me when I was working as a full time script editor.
All you have to do is make comments in the forum, just talk to people, get to know other Goldminers, generally help the new forum launch with a swing – and for doing just that someone will win free coverage for their script.
To find out more you can follow the Forum tab at the top of this page. (This will take you to the forum. Look out for the Monthly Competition thread very near the bottom of the page.)
How To Write A Screenplay

Hi Everybody:
I would like to win the Script Consultation because well, I need it! I tried to write a feature film and it came out an odd length-about 78 pages. I haven’t had any formal screenwriting classes or informal for that matter. But, I have been told my dialog is good and I am amusing.
I live in a small city in NY state and there are mostly independent filmmakers here. I have been wanting to join the organization however, because the people who belong are artists. And I’m sure I can learn plenty. I have to say I appreciate all the screenwriting resources on the web. I am unemployed and thought I would never here back from Phil and other people who email newsletters, have resources.
So thanks Phil for not giving up on me! Also, thank you for all of your help, wisdom.
