I’m doing a final research work for school, called “from paper to screen”, about film adaptations.

I think if you are writing a script based on a novel, you should definitely read brothers Strugatsky “Roadside Picknick” and watch Trkovsky’s “Stalker”, also nice newer example of a good script is “Dorian Gray” based on a well known novel.
